Water Smart Education
What is a PFD?PFD stands for Personal Flotation Device. Most people call PFDs “lifejackets”, but lifejackets have greater buoyancy and are designed to turn most unconscious victims face up. People use PFDs because they are generally less bulky, more comfortable, and come in a wide range of attractive colours and styles. You can even get inflatable PFDs.
